Content and Community Rules

Servers can add their own rules. These platform rules apply everywhere on Revelog.

Last updated August 24, 2026

Protect people

  • No credible threats, targeted harassment, stalking, or encouragement of violence.
  • No sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, or sexual content involving minors.
  • No publishing private personal information to intimidate, harm, or expose another person.
  • No promotion or coordination of self-harm, terrorism, human trafficking, or other serious violence.

Protect communities

  • No spam, coordinated manipulation, artificial engagement, scams, phishing, or malware.
  • No ban evasion, impersonation intended to deceive, or automation that bypasses platform limits.
  • No disruption of servers, calls, search, moderation, or other Revelog systems.
  • Respect each server’s additional rules and moderator decisions.

Post what you have a right to share

  • Do not upload stolen, unlawfully distributed, or privacy-invasive material.
  • Do not use Revelog to sell prohibited goods or coordinate unlawful activity.
  • Report suspected copyright or legal violations with enough information for review.

How enforcement works

Enforcement can include a warning, content removal, feature restriction, timeout, server removal, account suspension, or permanent ban. The response depends on severity, context, history, and immediate risk.

Automated systems identify patterns for human review and defensive rate limits. Revelog does not automatically ban an account solely because one abuse signal was created.
